Living in the north woods for many years, I’ve been inspired by the beauty around me. Many of my paintings are done from sketches made as I traveled around the Lake Superior area. Our home is located at the edge of the Moquah barrens so much of my artwork is done by looking out my studio window.
I work in many mediums including pastel, pen & ink, watercolor, acrylic, collage, photo art, pencils and charcoal but enjoy pastels and drawing the most. Sandy Isely
