The Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau is hosting a 9-day Art Escape Event that will take place September 9th-17th, 2023.
The Cornucopia Art Crawl, Bayfield County and Madeline Island's high quality art scene is worth celebrating! We are looking for painters, jewelers, potters, sculptors, woodworkers, and performers to commit to a date, time and offering within the event timeline. This is a prime opportunity to showcase your art via live demos, art classes and open houses. There is a fee to participate in this event, and you must complete a registration form and honor your commitment. The application needs to be filled out and submitted to the Bayfield Chamber & Visitor Bureau by April 1, 2023. See the link for the Art Escape registration form within the Cornucopia Art Crawl registration form. The link is highlighted in blue which will take you directly to that form.
The Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau will be producing an Art Escape guide with a schedule of events, map and potential stories about you or your galleries. This publication will be distributed across Bayfield County and other targeted areas. Other multimedia marketing will be used towards this initiative.
We are very excited to continue in this art event and the vast potential of exposure for you and your art!

19th Annual Cornucopia Art Crawl
September 9-10th, 2023
The Cornucopia Art Crawl Poster
The Cornucopia Art Crawl Poster is a visual means to advertise our event that will be distributed widely in the area. Reprints are available for sale prior to and at the event. Proceeds from the sales help fund the Art Crawl. Participants agree to share artwork without royalty.
- The image should convey a strong sense of identification with the Cornucopia locality – its geography, beauty, people, heritage, history, and/or culture.
- The image must be an original work and can be rendered in any visual medium: a drawing, painting, photograph, print, computer-generated image, fiber art, etc. Image cannot have won any other regional contest.
- The image will additionally be judged on strength, positive representation of the area, and how well it will work as a “for sale” poster.
- Preferred size is 10 x 12 inches.
- Submit the original image, unframed. Only one entry per artist.
Information is also available at the Community Center in an envelope attached to bulletin board in main room, via an email firstname.lastname@example.org, ART CRAWL and CBAC Facebook pages.
