4th Annual Cornucopia Fly In Event
June 23rd-25th at the Cornucopia Art Strip
Hosted by the Recreational Aviation Foundation. Local community events throughout the weekend. Community meal offering at businesses in town, meet and greet pilots at the airstrip to see planes.

Spend a weekend of camping under the stars or stay at one of the local lodging options listed on our website and see the sights of this special place. Fun things to do while you are there:
- Kayak on Lake Superior and see the amazing sea caves
- Visit the beautiful Apostle Islands National Lakeshore
- Take a boat trip out to see the islands
- Hike to see the local waterfalls (need handout map)
- Join in the fly-out and see the beautiful Lake Superior Shoreline from the air
- Fly over to Duluth for a Cirrus factory tour Event RSVP
Due to the fantastic early interest in this event and the field’s ability to accommodate only 20 airplanes, we are requiring advance registration.
Lodging:
Camp under your wing at the airfield, on Lake Superior at Siskiwit Bay Marina campsites or stay at one of the lodging options listed on our website.
Primitive camping under your wing is available at the air.eld. Amenities will include a porta-potty, picnic tables, and a .re pit. Showers are available at Siskiwit Bay Marina for $5. Meals:
There will be a group meal both Friday and Saturday evening at Corny Coffee at a cost of $15.00
Coffee and sweets will be provided Saturday and Sunday mornings at the air field starting at 7:00am
Lunches will be on your own. Great food is available at a number of places in Cornucopia including Little Nikki’s Restaurant and Tavern, and Corny
Coffee, Ehler’s General Store, and Star North Convenience Store. See the Corny website for other options. Activities:

Paddle to see the spectacular sea caves or out to Sand Island

Cirrus factory tour – will be scheduled for Friday at 11am based on interest.12 people maximum.
Duluth is 53 sm due west of Cornucopia.

Join the fly-out on Saturday and tour the local shoreline of Lake Superior.
Plan to attend the pilot briefing at 9am and depart shortly thereafter. There will be a planned lunch stop at TBD.
